American Heart Association/American Stroke Association,
Dallas, Texas, (online)
The American Stroke Association serves consumers (stroke survivors, caregivers, and family and friends of those affected by stroke), healthcare professionals, organizations, hospitals and all Americans interested in receiving information about stroke.
The community benefits from the ASA's programs, initiatives and outreach, which aim to educate the public about stroke prevention and the warning signs and symptoms of stroke, improve quality care and stroke treatment, and support stroke survivors and caregivers after a stroke event.
The International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke continues to partner and collaborate with the ASA to increase education and awareness for the pediatric population
